Sound, reminders & screen

No microphone needed. Quiet mode overrides sounds and speech. Keep this page open; sleep or browser suspension can prevent alerts.

Share or embed this timer

Free to use anywhere

Paste the link into a message, a lesson plan or a Notion page, or the embed code into any site that accepts HTML (WordPress, Google Sites, Canvas, Moodle). Embedded timers show a small VoiceStopwatch credit. Voice control inside an embed needs the host page to allow the microphone.

MAKE IT YOURS

Give your talk a clear finish.

Set the talk length and the remaining-time thresholds for Wrap up and Final moments. Start your rehearsal or presentation. At zero, the timer continues into a clearly labeled overtime count.

Color is paired with text, so the timing state is readable without relying on color alone. Enable cues if useful, or keep the timer silent during the talk. Pausing also pauses overtime; reset starts a fresh rehearsal.

Questions about presentation timer

Does the timer stop at zero?

No. Presentation Timer continues counting overtime until you pause or reset, so overruns remain visible.

Can I adjust the warning colors’ timing?

Yes. Set how many seconds should remain when the amber and red states begin. The red threshold must be less than the amber threshold, and both must fit inside the talk.

What happens if I close the page?

Recent timer sessions and preferences are stored in this browser when storage is available. Recovery uses your device’s clock. Private browsing, cleared storage and device sleep can affect recovery. Keep the page open and test audio before relying on alerts.
