Share or embed this timer

Free to use anywhere

Paste the link into a message, a lesson plan or a Notion page, or the embed code into any site that accepts HTML (WordPress, Google Sites, Canvas, Moodle). Embedded timers show a small VoiceStopwatch credit. Voice control inside an embed needs the host page to allow the microphone.

MAKE IT YOURS

Train to the voice, not the clock.

Pick a preset — Tabata 20/10 × 8, HIIT 40/20, EMOM, boxing rounds or plank holds — or set your own work and rest times and the number of rounds. Press Start or Space, put the phone down, and listen: each stage is announced, the last three seconds are counted down, and a tone marks every change.

Tabata is eight rounds of 20 seconds of all-out effort and 10 seconds of rest, four minutes in total. The same engine runs any work/rest pattern: longer HIIT blocks, every-minute-on-the-minute sets, three-minute boxing rounds with a one-minute break, or timed plank holds. Timing comes from timestamps, not frame counts, so a stage never drifts.

Questions about tabata timer

What is a Tabata timer?

A Tabata timer runs eight rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest — four minutes in total. This page has that preset ready, and lets you change the work time, rest time and number of rounds for any other interval pattern.

Does the timer speak the rounds?

Yes. Spoken cues announce “Work” and “Rest” at each change and count down the final three seconds of every stage, using your device’s own speech voices. Turn them off under Sound, reminders & screen if you prefer tones only.

Can I use it for HIIT, EMOM or boxing rounds?

Yes. Use the HIIT, EMOM and Boxing presets or build your own sequence with different stages, then set how many rounds to repeat. Routines can be saved on this device and exported as a file.

Can I share a workout with my class or team?

Yes. Use Share or embed below the timer to copy a link that opens with your duration preset and starts automatically, or an embed code for a website, Notion page or learning platform.

Will it keep running if my screen locks?

Keep the page open and the screen awake (there is an option for that). Browsers can suspend audio and timers when a phone locks or the tab is hidden, so test the sound before relying on it in a session.

What happens if I close the page?

Recent timer sessions and preferences are stored in this browser when storage is available. Recovery uses your device’s clock. Private browsing, cleared storage and device sleep can affect recovery. Keep the page open and test audio before relying on alerts.

Also try: repeating interval timer — custom multi-stage sequences for study or rehearsal; voice activated stopwatch — time rounds and record laps by voice; talking countdown timer — a single countdown that announces the time left.
